Every branded SKU on FoodScore is built from the USDA Branded Foods dataset and run through the same 0-100 deterministic formula we apply to whole foods. Ingredient lists, NOVA classification and Nutrition Facts data come straight from USDA FoodData Central — manufacturer-declared, US-government-hosted, no scraping. Score variance inside a brand is often wide: plain yogurts can score in the 60s while flavored zero-sugar cups of the same brand land in the 40s.
