Oatly is a Swedish oatmilk producer founded in the 1990s and sold widely in the United States since 2018. Formulations vary by line: Original uses oats, water, a rapeseed-oil base and added minerals; Barista Edition adds a stabilizer for foam; Low-Fat strips the oil; Chocolate adds cocoa and sugar. None of the Oatly SKUs carry whole oats in the macronutrient sense — the oats are enzymatically broken down to liquid — so fiber content runs low (typically under 2g per cup).
